Miniature replica of a water pitcher and chamber bowl was released in the late 1970s by AVON.
Collectible Milk Glass Bath Oil bottle by Avon.
History:
This collectible was made in the Delft Blue style of beautiful milk glass decorated with deep blue flowers.
Wonderful detail on these Vintage Avon items.
It is a nice heavy glass and in addition to the graphic, and embossed detail around the neck of the pitcher and the inside of the bowl.
It is embossed "Avon" on the bottom of both the pitcher and the bowl.
I believe it originally held Skin-so-Soft Bath Oil.
This is also known as Slag glass.
Slag Glass is beautiful due to its distinct opaque and swirled coloration.
Slag glass is a term used to describe a type of coloured pressed opaque glass made using the "slag" left over during the iron smelting process.
Bowl 4cm H and 12.5cm W
Perfume bottle is 11.5cm H
